These pork chops have become a cult classic around my house. Anything that's seared in the pan and finished in the oven is a winner in my book! They are then coated in a buttery garlic and herb sauce and baked in the oven. Perfectly tender and so so flavorful! This recipe can easily become a staple, as the herbs and spices can be switched up to create an entirely new dish! Keep reading for this easy Garlic and Herb Pork Chop!

I patted my pork chops dry and then seasoned them with my staples: garlic powder, onion powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper. I'm using bone-in pork chops for added flavor.

This step can be done in a regular skillet or a cast iron pan! I used a regular skillet and transferred my chops to a foil-lined tray to bake. Look at that beautiful crust formed on the pork chops! (*tip: cut slices into the fat of the pork chops to prevent curling when placed in the pan)

While the chops are searing, we make the garlic herb and butter sauce. Melted butter, thyme, and minced garlic--is there anything better?

Here the pork chops have been covered in the sauce prior to going into the oven. Be sure to try and get an even distribution of minced garlic on each one! You're going to want allll of that sauce!

And voila! Our finished chops! Beautifully browned and tender (*tip: use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness. Pork chops are safe to eat at 145 F).

These pork chops go wonderfully with the Oven Roasted Balsamic Brussels Sprouts! Another great addition would be a loaded baked potato or even roasted potatoes.

Let me know if you try this recipe and like it! Hope you enjoy!
